Now and then, I like to interview a singer who has found a means to improve her/his voice in a very specific way. This week, I spoke with Jeanette Sarmiento, who attends my free weekly Zoom Vocal Warm
Up.
Some months ago, she spoke in the group about how her low notes seemed to be disappearing. So when she sang a song in the group last week, I was surprised and pleased to hear that her low range sounded easy and rich.
Jeanette said that she had found a few exercises that seemed to be helping. And she spoke about a new tool that gave her more confidence in her singing.
She agreed to talk with me about it in a video. She demostrates two singing exercises in the first section of the video. She sings part of the song I heard her sing in the group. At the end, she shows and talks about her new singing "tool!" She said. "I sound 1000 times better!"
I
hope you enjoy the interview.
