Hello Friends and Singers,
Most of us have to deal with some degree of nervousness before we sing for others. Even if we are only singing for a few members of the family. (Often singing for family members is the worst!)
Here's
a very quick tip that you can use before you sing - a way to keep your energy moving. Many of us freeze up in one way or another. Or we implode, so our energy is stuck.
Part of our job as singers (even in lessons) is to find ways to quickly unlock our sense of "flow."
Take a look. This is a simple, yet powerful thing to do just minutes before your lesson, or a concert, or an audition, or an interview, or a difficult talk.
Learn this quick
motion.
My best to you,
Barbara
P.S. I'm creating a
free mini-course called,
"Take Your Song From Zero to WOW!" If you are interested in being part of the short online course in late November, please send me an email here:

I've received several requests for a Zoom workshop. So... if there is enough interest in this course, I will add a free live conference Zoom session for us to talk more about making a song really sing!
