Here are the next 2 of my list of 12 of the most important things I think a singer needs in order to flourish - no matter your age or chosen goals. 
SUCCESS - I don't believe that there is a "true meaning," unless we say that what success means is different for each person and is a  moving target in a person´s life.

TALENT - Over the many years that I have been teaching (over 25), I have witnessed how those who have both good musical ability AND the ability to keep moving along - no matter how slowly - are the people who eventually find success - whatever that may mean to them.
