Hello Friends and Singers,
Good to reach out to you again!
Yesterday, I posted a new video on Youtube about finding more confidence as a "mature" singer. By that, I mean you are likely over the age of 50, (which is still young,😊) and you are working on
improving your voice.
I was going to do a video on high notes this week, but an opportunity to speak with pianist/singer, Doug Balfour came up, so my high notes video will come next week.
Doug Balfour is a well-known Canadian pianist who is in his early 60's. In the last several years, he began to do more singing while playing the piano. I talk with him about how his voice has improved and what advice he could offer others who are also working on their voices later in life.
Doug is funny. He is also quite humble. He has played piano for many well known singers. And in his very early years, he worked a little bit with Michael Bublé, too. He talks about this. And about how his voice is changing - and why... In the video you will hear and see him play 4 songs live from his living room!
NEXT WEEK! - REALLY is all about high notes - especially for those of us who are older!
Love to you all,
I wish you great singing!
Barbara
