Hello Friends and Singers,

Again, thank you for taking the time to answer my 3-question survey. I will keep the survey open for a while longer, so if you are a new subscriber (Welcome!) or you simply have not taken it, here's your chance! - Survey about your singing interests.  

 

Most singers whom I meet are interested in learning how to be more creative vocally. But they also find the idea of vocal improvisation nerve-wracking and mysterious. Where do you start?

In truth, if we start small and easy, most of us can build up our creative options a lot, with patience and practice. I learned how to yodel for a concert tour. (See a very short excerpt in the video.) It took some time. But bit by bit, I found my way. You may not want to yodel. But you can get much more creative, if you relax and stay open. 
 

Here's my new video called Vocal Improv 101 for Singers Over 40!  I know now that half of my subscribers are beginners. So this is for you! But... for those who are at the intermediate+ level(s), you may also gain from this very simple approach. Especially if you have not been cultivating improvisation in your singing, up to this point. 
NOTE! Next week, I'll create an improv video for the more advanced singer.
