Hello Friends and Singers,

Again, thank you for taking the time to answer my 3-question survey. Since quite a few more people joined my newsletter this week, I'll keep it open. It's an anonymous survey about your singing interests.  

51.43% - read music (48.57% do not)

41.67% - are beginners
52.78% - are intermediate
5.56% - are advanced

 

38.99% - want more about singing technique

11.11 - want more about how to sings specific songs

50% - want more of both of the above

This week I created a video that explores another kind of chord - the 7th. If you don't know what that means, no problem! My hope is that you can benefit from this short video even if you only listen and do not sing. As you read above, 41% of my newsletter subscribers are beginners. And 52% are intermediate.

Since I am not sure what that means, I have created a new video - Improv 201 - that is just a gentle step up in difficulty. I'd love to know what you think:)  

 

Next week's video - I plan to explore my inner clown. I'm hoping I can encourage you to do so, too! We'll work on an upbeat song, use some of the vocal patterns you have learned in these two Improv videos (101 and 201) - to do a short, easy improvisation. Many of us need to loosen up a bit - (especially after this crazy year) - which helps a lot when you want to get more creative. I hope you will join me for a light hearted video about feeling free and a bit crazy. Next Friday...
